PostSubject: A few new videos   Sun Oct 25, 2009 12:38 pm

Hi guys,

A discussion came up on the Geckodrive Yahoo group the other day where Mariss was explaining the benefits of micro-stepping and how their stepper drives morph from 10x micro-stepping to full steps as the RPM increases. That provides all the benefits of smoothness that micro-stepping offers without a reduction in power. I shot a quick video of two Taig 2019s one has 1/2 step driver and the other a Gecko G540. The difference between the drives is even more apparent in person. Note that the background noise level in both videos is about the same.

There is also another new video to show off the new A2ZCNC large mill clamps. They should be releasing some micro-size clamps in a few weeks as well. I'll be stocking all three sizes shortly.

Driver Comparison

New clamps
