PostSubject: A good deal from PayPal?   Tue Oct 13, 2009 9:36 pm

Hi guys,

I just got a notice from PayPal that they are now offering their 'Bill me Later' service on all checkouts through PayPal. The introductory offer sound pretty decent: $25 rebate and 90 days same as cash (watch out for the interest charges if you go past 90 days though!) More info here: https://cms.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/marketingweb?cmd=_render-content&content_ID=marketing_us/ppbml25off90diwB

I just thought I would mention it as if you pay if off before the 90 days is up it is a good deal. I used 'Bill me Later' to buy my wife a laptop for Christmas last year, we had the money saved up for it but I thought, "Why not borrow someone else's money for free for a few months while mine collects a bit of interest in the bank?"

It seems like most online merchants, especially small outfits like myself, use PayPal or at least have them as an option so it is kind of exciting for me to be able to offer a service like the big boys do.

I'm fairly certain you have to get the e-mail from PayPal to be eligible for this offer. On the plus side, some people are getting a $100 rebate.

Here's some more info on this deal.
