PostSubject: Just wanted to say hello...   Wed Aug 05, 2009 8:40 pm

...and introduce myself. My name is Curtis (from PA) and I have been a machining hobbyist for about 12 years now. I bought the Taig mill (manual) and lathe a couple years back to do small work on (I also have a very old 1939 Sheldon Metalworker for the "bigger stuff"). I do the usual steam driven engines on a small scale and I like the Taig for that sort of stuff. Also, I have a "thing" for the small cantilevered bed lathes like the Taig and Cowell"s (tho I don't own one of the latter....yet lol). So; hello to everyone on this forum and thanks for letting me join!

Curtis
