When in Mach 3 I try to even Jog the machine all I get is some movement in only one direction on 2 of the axis, if I change wires around I can get other axis to move again in only one direction, does anyone have a set up file I can have a copy of that I can use to set up this used machine and also let me know what version of Mach 3 you are using, I have tried with version 2 and version 3, I am new and lost as what to do, if i can get the communication between these two working i am sure the rest will come better. Any Ideas or helpful advice will also be accepted, and no I do not have the money for the new GEEKO driver I have the silver box with the green button on the front and a on/off switch on other side of the front from Deep Groove (Ducking). Thanks for any help.

| Welcome to the Site.....I believe you can get the deepgroove xml file off the Mach site...I will check for you Have you tried going to Configuration,Hot keys and setting the keys up...? If thats set you may have a bad cable......I had issues with a used machine I bought that would only jog in 1 direction and it was a bad cable..... _________________ Welcome to the Taig Owners Club I am not Affiliated with any Manufacturer Posted on this Site My Endorsement of Products is Strictly on the Experience I have with that item

ok I have opened the files in my browser window (it happens automatically) so I copy all this then past it into a blank Note pad file, then save it as unicode with a xml extension that should work right? I am not at home but will try the files when I get there later, thanks! Bryan

Hi Bryan, To download an XML file, Just right click on the file and select "Save As" and save it to the area you'd like it to be downloaded to and then copy it to your Mach 3 directory. Welcome to the forum - Dave

What browser are you using? I may have confused you a bit as after you right click with your mouse on the link, there should be a selection called "Save Target as". Do you have that option? If not, shoot me a PM with your email address and I can send it to you- Dave

Hello Bryan, I made wrenches for my Taig with the ER16 spindle. I've got .dxf files and the code is probably around here somewhere. Glad to share the .dxf files. The code would be use at your own risk. Regards, Chuck
