Brian, can't you just connect the touch plate wire to one of the inputs and then just ground to the machine? Dave

No idea, I "think" they're only in kit form. I've never persued it as it would be overkill for what I do and too much dicking around. Quite honestly, if you have the time to fool around with it, it would definitely be up on the "cool" factor Dave

Now that was just sweet I didn't read into it I just looked at the Video but I could use it if it could be controlled with Mach 3 like Hoss man made for his X2.

Thanks Jeff and Admin. Yes, this is something I built myself on my cnc Taig mill. I was getting tired of using a shim to set cutter height, so I came up with this. It was modeled after a z axis preset gauge I seen in a catalog. I have it calibrated to 2.500 inches. I set z gauge block height in Mach 3 to 2.5 inches and I'm good to go.

Admin, I can't seem to post an image directly to my post. Would you be able to walk me through the process? I'm not very computer literate.

Just click the "image" button in the toolbar above the reply box you type in and then put your link in there and you should be good to go. Dave

Brian, this may have to do with the "G91" mode. Have a look here and start reading around post #231. Greg has come up with a fix for this: http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showthread.php?t=56079&page=6 Hope that may help you out- Dave
