| So (Dean and blmartech) I think you should both send me your mailing address so I can mail you a fish version. The fun never stops. Bryan PS: if anyone wants the dxf file or code let me know (for any of the versions, free of course). It's roughy 90mm long and 34mm high. (I am making mine out of 2.1mm Aluminum).

| Hi Bryan, I don't mean to sound stupid, but what is a welding pointer? It sounds like a device that is used to help you determine where the welding rod or torch is before you stike an arc (because you cant see much if your helmet is down . I've never heard of it before, and can't seem to find much info. on Google about it. Although if it is what I think, then it could be of use to me. I usually have to strike an arc before I can see where I am at. Thus, possibly welding in a place I shouldn't be P.S. Your fish is beginning to look like a whale |

| Hello DaveDu, I use the welding pointer to clamp to test pieces to tell me where to stop welding. As for seeing where to start welding I use a helmet controlled by my chin so I know where I will be striking the arc. I will add a link to were you can buy one. http://www.accustrike.com/ (Home Page) http://www.accustrike.com/orderform.htm (Ordering page) PS: get the one WITH A FAN IN IT. They work great, and your chin needs no batteries. Whale sharks are fish too...... See File section for DXF and for Cutting Code and Lettering Code. |
